This great navigational break teaches you everything you will need to know for you to navigate competently on tour in the hills and mountains. From the basics of how to read a map right through to how to programme a GPS unit to help with your navigation. If you don’t have any navigational equipment don’t worry, we will provide you with all the maps, compasses and GPS equipment at no extra cost.


You will be based very near to Alwinton in a wonderful country hotel, complete with Pele Tower. Each day, whether a training day or a walking day you will be able to walk straight from the front door. Within one hour you can be walking the Border ridge, between England and Scotland in some of the bleakest and most beautiful countryside in the UK.


At the end of the course you will be able to competently navigate on your own and have a wonderful working knowledge.
